Each charm is handmade.  So each one has slight differences.

They are finished with a glossy shine and a sterling silver plated ring.

All charms are around the size of a penny.

Who could resist all that cherry, lime, blue raspberry flavor?!

Sinus Troubles

Its happened.  Every year, twice a year, I get this cold.  Its my sinuses.  They hate me.  I get it in the winter to spring transition and fall to winter transition.  Like clockwork.  If I am lucky enough to somehow squeak by without getting it, it makes me sooooo happy.  So far, I'm right on schedule.  I got sick, it was this past Tuesday I think, and it pretty much halted all my activity for a couple days.

But good news!  I'm mostly functional again, and I'm back to creating.  Which is good because my personal calendar is about to get busy.  I've got my 6 year anniversary coming up for me and my Sweetness.  Then it's my brother's birthday, whose present is already in the works.  After that, a little further down the road, it will be my Mom's birthday and Mother's Day.  It can be a bummer that they are so close together, but it always works out just fine in the end.  I've already got ideas brewing for her too!

Lots of new pieces are being worked on and finished.  So I'll be updating the shop soon.

It's been weird weather for the last few days, but today seems to be turning out alright.  It started out sunny, then it got windy and cloudy, and now its sunny and windy.  :)

A lovely spring evening :)

Easter Eggs and My New Trunk Show Tackle Box

I am exhausted.  This past weekend was a long one even though it went by really fast.  A friend of mine was having 3 different parties, and I got the chance to attend all three.  So it was an opportunity for 3 different mini-trunk shows.  It was a lot of fun.

I was able to unveil my latest charm creations for Easter.  Eggs!  Pendants and earrings :)  There are still some left.  They range in price from $5 to $15.  Not sure if they will make it to the shop this time around.  Easter is just a few days away.  If you're interested in something just send me a message.

Within the last week or so, I invested in a case so that my finished pieces can travel in style.  At the moment, its still pretty much just a tackle box, but as time goes on it will morph into something more amazing.  A decorated, stylized tackle box!

Ahhh.... I can see it now.  In all of its detailed tackle box glory.
It's going to be epic.  I can feel it.

Overdue

I have been slacking off. I meant to update this last week, and the week before but time just got away from me and, well, here we are late for updates again. Ah well, no big deal right? Right.

Moving on...

I've been toiling away in my living room the shop.  Getting creative with some square picture jasper beads, and playing around with peace sign charms.  Soon they will be up in the shop ready to be adopted.

Shortly after Christmas, I started working on a hat for my sweet.  I wanted to adjust a pattern I found so it would be workable with this yarn I fell in love with at the craft store.  Silk bamboo.  Its so soft.  Well, I got a book for Xmas that teaches you how to knit anything on your own.  Long story short, I just finished the hat yesterday.  The pattern I had found originally would not work at all with the yarn.  I guess, I basically ended up making my first knitting pattern.  Which I was pretty excited about in the end, because its something I always wanted to accomplish.  I'm so proud of my hat.  I wish I could wear it myself, but I look ridiculous in them.  :)

Finally, today was daylight saving time.  Spring forward.  I am completely thrown off now.  :P  It didn't help that I went to bed late because I drank too much coffee.  But I shouldn't complain too much, it does mean it will be lighter out later and that spring is well on its way now.

See?

Sneak Peeks, New Bracelet, A Neighborhood Friend

As promised, though a little late, some sneak peeks of the doll project I have been working on.  Its coming along slowly.  I have been working on some other projects though and have had to set it aside.  I plan on picking it back up in the next week or so.  There are some slightly more important things to be taken care of first :)

I'm really please though at the amount I have accomplished on it.

These are pretty tiny sneak peeks, but they aren't supposed to reveal much for now :)

Last weekend I started a new bracelet on a whim.  I dug out some seed beads and yellow moss agate stash.  It took me over 15 hours through three days to finish it.  It turned out nice in the end.  A cuff with snaps to make it appear seamless.  When it was done, I realized that it would actually look pretty nice with the necklace in my last update.  Here are a couple shots.

Beige, frosty green, clear, smokey clear brown seed beads.

Yellow moss agate & clear quartz crystal round beads.

Hand stitched & reinforced.

Finally its been snowing so much over this month.  I am pretty happy about it.  I know everyone wants it to be over, but I wish it would have done this all winter.  It was so bitter cold in November and December, and there was no snow.  It was a bummer.  Now its snowed so much that my backyard looks like a little winter wonderland :)

However, the news sounds like this big snowy storm cell is going to be going away.  :(  I'll miss you snow.  I know its almost March, but I don't care :)  So until the sun takes him away, I have a new neighborhood friend that greets me every time I park my car.

Isn't he cute?
